Synopsis[]

Atlantis is in dire threat of an invasion led by Mera's sister Hila, hailing from the Kingdom of Xebel. Aquaman and Mera, with the help of his exiled brother Orm must travel the kingdoms of Atlantis to find a way to stop Hila and her partner in crime Black Manta.

Plot[]

Dr. Stephen Shin records his research into Aquaman and Atlantis, as well as his theory on other ocean mysteries, he talks about the Bermuda Triangle, and that he theorizes that the mysteries surrounding that area is linked to an inter-dimensional anomaly under the ocean, the scene coincides with Hila swimming back to an underwater portal in the Bermuda Triangle.

We are then taken to Dimension Aqua, a parallel water-world dimension where water extends infinitely on all directions and is where the Atlantean Kingdom of Xebel is located. Hila returns to the palace where she meets her husband King Nereus, she tells him about the condition of the surface world and Nereus informs that the scientists have perfected their particle accelerator machine to merge Dimension Aqua with the surface world.

On land, Aquaman attends a United Nations conference representing Atlantis, they discuss about a trade agreement with Atlantis. Being one of the largest nation on Earth, Aquaman assures them that Atlantean technology will not be used against the surface world and that trade will be heavily guarded by him and the Justice League in order for them to not fall into the wrong hands, Aquaman also states that Atlantis, being the richest nation on Earth, will not accept money in return for sharing their technology, they only ask that the humans should begin an effort of cleaning the oceans and stop destroying marine life.[1]
