Black Trident or the Trident of Kordax was an ancient Atlantean weapon originally created and wielded by King Kordax. After his death, it was kept in his vault.
Centuries later it was taken by Black Manta in order to fight against Aquaman.

Black Manta's Revenge[]
To have a chance against Aquaman, Black Manta needed a powerful weapon. He was given the coordinates to the location of the vault of Kordax by Orm.
He used the trident to destroy the Curry lighthouse, a large part of Maine, and to wage war against Atlantis. After his defeat it was confiscated and stored within Atlantis.

- Immunity: The tirdent gives immunity to its weilder.
- Control over marine life: Like the Trident of Atlan, it can control marine life, which is mainly used to control the Trench.
