- Charlie Hunnan mentioned in a interview in 2023 that he had no idea who the Green Arrow was, before taking on the role. He said that green was not his favorite color and wouldn't look good in spandex. But after reading the Green Arrow: Year One comic book and the script for the movie, Hunnan expressed great interest for the character, ultimately deciding to take on the role.
