Circe is a demigod daughter of Old God Helios and Amazon Perse from ancient Themyscira. Due to her magical abilities, she was a prominent member of the Amazons in Themyscira before her banishment.
Seemingly disappearing from Earth, she would eventually return to initiate the War of the Gods, becoming an enemy of Wonder Woman and the Justice Society of America.
