The Decreator is an entity believed by the Cult of the Unwritten Book to be the shadow created by God's first light. In truth, the Decreator was brought into existence as a result of the cult's pure faith in the Decreator's existence.

- "Decreation": The Decreator has the ability to "Decreate" things, wiping them from existence and leaving only a few ashes that vanish just as quickly. While the Decreator typically looks at things before it decreates them, this is not necessary, as the Decreator decreates John Constantine's cigarette while he was inside Doom Manor, and thus obscured from view. The decreation happens in no perceivable order, though it is promised that Nurnheim and its residents would be the last to be decreated.
