The League of Assassins were an ancient shadow organization founded by Ra's al-Ghul after he discovered the Lazarus Pit and developed his wealth.
The organization operates both for hire and their own agenda. They primarily specialize in assassinations and terrorism. They have been successful in the underworld, having killed at least 200 people every month based on their receipts.[1]
