Parademons are a legion of genetically engineered soldiers created by Desaad, to serve as the primary military force of Darkseid.
Parademons are not natural creatures as they were created by altering and modifying various creatures from across the universe, either corpses or captured individuals.

Physiology[]
Parademons come in different shapes and sizes as they could be created from whatever creature that is unfortunate to become them. Each parademons were given wings to give them an ability to fly. Enhancements are also given in the process of transformation.
- Flight: Parademons are able to fly using their wings.
- Superhuman strength: Enhancements also granted them higher than average strength.
Technology[]
- Apokoliptian weaponry: Althought they seem to be mindless, parademons can operate weapons, with different weapons assigned to different individual parademons.
- Spear: Some parademons carry a spear with a heated end.
- Plasma gun: Some parademons wield plasma guns.
- Armory: Parademons wear an organic, chitinous body armor that protects them from conventional weapons.
